This was a book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and published in 1925. This book shows how the world was after World War I ended and when the economy soared in the Roaring 20's. The book takes place in Long Island, New York City.

Fashion in the 1920's

Fashion in the 1920's is still very different from what we where now, but a big change from before World War I. Women still wore dresses and skirts, but also started wearing pants and trousers. Women wore loose fitting clothing and shorter skirts and dresses. Everyday outfits where less eleborate and more functional to wear. Coco Chanel also become very popular in the 1920's. Her "Little Black Dress" become very popular among women in this time.
