Stardoll at the X Factor! Our own reporter on the scene ...

162 maanden geleden

As I walked into London's Connaught Hotel I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I'm a Stardoll girl with simple loves and likes, so imagine my disbelief when Stardoll asked me to attend the official X Factor Final press call. Despite the urge to scream repeatedly I knew I had to save my voice as I was officially the Stardoll X Factor reporter.

As I sat patiently in a crowded room full of TV crews and reporters I thought about all the questions I could ask. Then, as I sat in X Factor heaven it started......

All four finalists and all four judges walked into the room and quickly took their seats on the stage. There was a strange sense of silence for about 3 seconds, then a wave of hands short into the air as eager journalists vied to get picked in order to ask their questions.  So this is it, read on for an X Factor exclusive, straight from the people themselves.

In response to being asked how he would feel if Cheryl was to win again Simon responded "It's not going to happen". Throughout the entire press call Simon made it very clear that he and the One Direction boys were there to win. He is "very confident of his act" but admits "this is going to be one heck of a competition".

Indeed the competition is set to look tight but all acts still have that lucky little duet number up there sleeves to pull out before the vote is out. So who is singing with who?  Matt Cardle will be sharing his germs with Rihanna, Cher Lloyd will be bopping along with Will.I.am, Rachel is set to raise the roof with Christina Aguilera, and the lovely boys from One Direction will be manning it up with Robbie Williams.

So there you have it, four amazing duets, but how are the acts feeling? We all know that Matt Cardle has been considerably ill over the past week but Dannii insisted "that we are not playing the sick card, if someone is sick, they're sick. Were in a good space and will do our best". Matt admitted to not being on top form but said "it is what it is, I'm going to work with what I've got".

Another slightly down beat finalist was Cher Lloyd, who despite her amazing talents was very open about her defeated position in the competition. "It's not like I'm going to win it, but I've made it this far and I'm very lucky, I know who I am". Protective mentor Cheryl Cole was quick to move on from the negative news surrounding Cher and added " we avoid bad stuff like that (in response to the alleged hate campaign against Cher) they need to get their heads in the right place and focus on the good stuff".

On a more happy note One Direction were the delightful joyful group they always appear to be. As Harry (One Direction) joked about he openly admitted that fellow band member Louis, "has a massive crush on Frankie" (from The Saturdays) which interestingly was not denied. Simon was very clear the boys will do their very best to win the competition and has full confidence in their abilities.

As the rest of the judges bantered on, Louis Walsh whose acts have been knocked out stayed on the quite side. Although when he finally did speak he made it very clear as to who he was backing. " I love someone in the competition very much and she's from Liverpool". Like her fan Rachel was rather silent throughout the press call but was very pleased to be in the final and couldn't wait to sing with Christina Aguilera.

As the press call rapidly came to an end Simon made it clear, "that The X Factor will be back next year". As for this seasons show Simon said "I've loved every minute of it...all the unexpected twists...its made it very interesting". Cheryl added " it's been very, very exciting and it will be badly missed."

So that's it, my official X Factor report, before I leave just one little piece of gossip....keep your eyes and ears open as Simon made hints that a new music show is set to storm our sets soon......oh how exciting.
