ROHIRRIM Inspired

58 maanden geleden

Welcome to this segment of my blog, "Inspired!" With these interviews, I'd love to highlight some amazing people, not only for their incredible talent but also for their willingness to help others and spread kindness.

Today I'm going to be interviewing my friend, ROHIRRIM, who's an amazing designer and creative mastermind here on Stardoll!

Behind the scenes, ROHIRRIM is actually Savannah. At 22 years old, she's been on Stardoll since 2011 and she enjoys creating art, painting and drawing. She also loves all things abstract and weird. I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Savannah, and discuss her talent and interest in art.

~How did you start designing, and how did you become so talented?
"I remember last year, I don't know the specific date, I didn't really know how you to design, until I decided to do my first inspo which was "Pyramid Head", from Silent Hill. I was a noobie and to be honest it wasn't that great. I mean the overall design wasn't "structured" that well, the triangle lines weren't straight or precise. I remembered I didn't think too much of it and posted and shared it on Spotlight. And of course every time that I saw it, I just deleted the post. After that, I gave up on designing and didn't want to associate with it. Every time, I would see another designer create something so beautiful, yet simple, I would be so intrigued like "wow that looks so easy." or sometimes I would think to myself, "I wish I was that talented, but I am so bad at designing."

She kept on practicing until she got her designs just right.

~What's your favorite look?
"My fav look or inspo that I created thus far would be "Nazgul", from Lord of The Rings."

~What other designs and pieces do you plan to create in your future? Will you keep designing?
"Of course I will keep designing, I continue to strive creating inspirations and challenging myself. I know this may sounds cheesy, but in a way it is true, practice makes perfect. What I plan to create in the future will be like I said, inspirations, but more so of realistic inspirations such as people or maybe animals."

~Do you have any advice for new designers?
"My advice for new designers is to never doubt your work even if you think it looks horrible. I was in the same boat; I doubted my work numerous of times, even IRL as an artist. Everything will take patience and time for a person to take notice of your designs/ creative work. I also want to say to the people on Stardoll that don't design, be respectful of designers works, remember that they took time and effort to create."

In my opinion, ROHIRRIM is truly an inspiration to new designers everywhere, and she demonstrates the importance finding a balance between respecting others and respecting and improving yourself.

What do you think about her designs? Aren't they amazing?
