Stop Cyberbullying (2)

67 maanden geleden

Hi dollies! This is part two of Daisy's campaign against cyberbullying.

Q. Sometimes being bullied can make someone feel singled out and alone. Do you have any advice for anyone feeling that way?

I think, if you see someone standing or sitting alone and being bullied, stand by him or her! Make them feel wanted, share a story, ask questions. Just be there for this person! The feeling of someone saying something nice like ''your hair looks great'' can make someone feel less alone.

Q. I think staying strong despite bullying is incredibly brave. How do you get past comments like that today?

Yes, I have strong days and weaker days. I try NOT reply to those. Just read it and remember they don't understand you in real life and don't know what you've been through. There is a story behind every doll, a real person, and they have feelings too. Mostly I try not to read them. If I do, I will always delete them so I can't read them over and over again, report this doll and block them so they can't contact me again. I don't need this kind of negativity in my life and I'm surely they have something better to do too.

Q. Do you have any experience with bullying that you overcame you'd like to share?

Yes I did, In middle school, I had long hair. I was made fun of that every day. They pulled my hair and called me ugly names. I didn't liked that period of my life, I didn't want to go to school and was always quiet. But somehow I managed to go to school every day and made it through the day. I promise it will get better after all!

To support this campaign, simply visit any doll and leave a kind comment. In cyberspace, we don't know what people go through in real life, and our words have the ability to make or break a day. Make someone's day!

Take care,

♡ Joanne
