Period Cramp Solutions

Many of us have to deal with our monthly periods, and many suffer with them more than others. I'm one of those people: I have always struggled as I'm sure a lot of you do too. For me one of the worst parts of a period is the cramps. 

-Exercise. It's probably the last thing you'd want to do when you're on a period, but the excerise releases endorpins and that helps relieve period cramps. Go for a short jog or a walk, nothing too heavy.

-Avoid Caffiene. We all crave chocolate as we are losing blood sugar levels, but the caffiene in coffee and chocolate can actually make the cramps worse. If you really need chocolate, just don't eat too much. 

-Use Heat. Apply a hot water bottle or a heating pad tp the area for pain relief. The heat acts as a painkiller and really does help to reduce the cramping.

-Avoid Tight Jeans. Wearing something loose and comfortable during your period is always best!
