Respecting other people is important, but it's also important to reserve a little of that respect to yourself.  Self-respect does not exist without having that level of respect for others. Here are tips for keeping your R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

- Build confidence. If someone compliments you - accept it! When you feel low, list the things that you love about yourself.

- Positive Attitude. Tell yourself that you will ace that exam next week! Even if you feel like nothing good is happening right now, remember that the good times will happen again.

- Stop comparing. You are NEVER going to be happy with yourself if you are constantly comparing yourself to others. You are who you are, and people will love you for it.

- Handle criticism. Instead of being offended, take notes as constructive criticism.You can use the feedback to improve yourself!

- Don't settle for anything less. Never settle for less than what you deserve.To truly respect yourself, know when you aren't being appreciated. Aim high and never sell yourself short - you deserve more than that.
