I have literally been Missing In Action for the past few months. Why? College. College has already exhausted me and I haven't even started yet.

For those of you who are in university, who are currently applying, or who have done their research, you know for a fact that most college applications are tedious and long.

I have applied to colleges and universities in Maryland, California, Florida, New York, West Virginia and Pennsylvania - resulting in nine schools in all. And I'll probably be adding two or three more to that list if time permits me.

To those students who have applied to over twenty universites, I have nothing but the utmost respect for you. It is a lot of work, and messing up an application is something that you want to avoid.

Believe me when I say that I love writing... But imagine having to write NINE essays that are at least THREE HUNDRED WORDS, all in a time frame.

Also my major is Music, so I have to submit different portfolios and resumes for each school.

It's a lot of work, I can tell you that. But in the end it's worth it, because you get into a good college and you get a good education. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THOSE FRESHMEN IN COLLEGE, AND TO THOSE WHO WILL BE JOINING THE COLLEGIATE FAMILY IN FALL 2017!
