Your Favorite Show Got Cancelled?

99 maanden geleden

It isn't a rare situation, especially for person who watches a lot of TV shows (raises hand), that you'd eventually stumble upon a show you really start to like.

You like the storyline(s), characters, you watch every single episode, until one day you find in news it got cancelled. You are angry, sad, disappointed, but there is nothing much you can do, right? I mean, you can always try signing some online petitions, or comment on show's page you want it back, but honestly, it rarely ever works.

So no matter if show had 10 or 40 episodes, there is still feeling of emptiness, knowing you will never see new adventures of your favorite characters. But here is what you can do.

- Ignore the cliffhanger. Most shows end their season with wrapping up the story, and then, in last few minutes, create a cliffhanger. You can pretend the cliffhanger never happened, that those last minutes did not air and story ended the right way.

- Read fan fiction. You are obviously not the only one upset by show's ending. But there are members with lots of creativity and enthusiasm who will continue the show the way they'd want it to go, in a form of fan fiction. You can find a variety of alternate endings and new adventures of your characters, and even not official, they can give you insight of the way story would go.

- Create your own ending. You don't really have to have good writing skills, just imagine how the story would go on in your head. But if you feel creative, you can try sharing it on other social networks.

Either way, the pain of not really knowing the way story would have gone on, and knowing you will never see the characters you've come to like/love, will remain. And there is nothing you can do about that.
