Back To School Blues

I know going back to school really sucks and no one really wants to do it. Waking up in the early hours in the morning, sitting through hours of math and sitting in a lunch hall with rowdy people isn’t the most most fun, so here are a few little ideas on how you can cheer yourself up and get through the year!

  1. Read a good book
    Want to escape from the overwhelming atmosphere of school? Find yourself a quiet corner and read. It’s amazing how fast time flys when you’re reading!


  2. Find your escape
    There is a hobby for everyone - whether it’s a sport, art, musical instrument or something else entirely, when you find it it’ll be your everything.


  3. Music
    The best way to get through that tough piece of homework? Pair it with some music and your favourite snacks- suddenly it doesn’t feel like such a chore anymore!

  1. Get enough sleep
    Paying attention in class will not only help you to get the best grades at the end of the year but it will also make the whole time a lot easier. You can’t pay complete attention without having enough sleep, so make sure you’re getting at least 8 hours!

  2. Look forward to the weekends
    Utilise the time you're not in school- plan a vacation or a party or even just brunch with your closest friends. Give yourself something to look forward to!

  3. Take some time out for yourself
    School work shouldn’t take all of your time up, so in your free time use it to treat yourself. Indulge in a giant pizza, watch a movie, play Stardoll - whatever it is that makes you feel good!
