Hi dolls! ♥
When it comes to decorating my suite, I like to try and go for different themes and styles. Recently, I got inspired to make a carnival-themed room. While creating the room, I ran into a small problem: Carnivals are supposed to be filled with people for a festive effect. However, I only had my doll and the Stardoll pals can be quite pricey.
Luckily, I solved this problem quickly using various inexpensive methods!
1. Silhouettes -
They are a great way to fill in spaces and make your background look more realistic, especially if the scene you are creating is set during nighttime. A variety of silhouettes can be found at the suite shop, Fashion, for only 40 sc!
2. Stardoll Campaign Offers -
Every now and then, Stardoll promotes for an upcoming movie or campaign by giving out free themed dolls (such as Mal from the upcoming Disney movie The Descendants). You can even add a stylish purse or a pair of chic sunglasses to make the doll(s) blend in more with your scene.
3. Outfits -
A creative way to solve this problem is to create an outfit that covers most of the body figure. (Hats, leggings, gloves, etc.) Then, simply fill in the head space with any circular face-like object (mannequins, eggs from the stardesign decor)
4. Pets -
Pets are also a cute way to fill in the space of your room to make it look busy or crowded. Who says people are the only ones who can attend carnivals and such?
Have fun decorating! ;)
