Left Out: Part Two
"It's okay to be mad at someone who hurt you." -Taylor Swift
The last post was about leaving people out. This time we are going to discuss being the person left out. Like I said, I have been left out before. It was extremely hard for me, seeing people who I thought were my friends ignoring me. If I were to be quite honest, I cried my eyes out and then couldn't sleep because of the massive head ache it gave me.
Taylor said it best, it's okay to be mad! What you do with those feelings counts. She wrote songs about it and became one of the most popular female artists in the world. Find what works best for you-journal about it, vent to someone who understands...just don't let your feelings get out of control.
Don't change so you can "fit in," hoping then that person is going to include you. You are going to find your own friends who accept you for who you are, even if it takes a while. I promise you, it always gets better.
