Good Manners = Good Friends
Good manners are as important online as in real life. Behaving with consideration makes things pleasant for everyone.
No one should be pestering members with requests for stardollars or gifts. Users that beg for virtual goods on a website are probably not hungry or homeless. They just want stuff they cannot or will not spend their own money to buy.
In the One-Stop Rules it says that it is forbidden to do things that make other dolls uncomfortable. Asking for gifts is not polite in real life or on this site. However, I usually don't bother reporting beggars. I just block them and delete the request. The less time spent, the better. By using the block tool I have the power not be bothered.
I get friend requests every day, but I rarely accept them. I add friends only after we have had some time to interact, in clubs or in guestbooks, so I get to know a bit more about a person’s character. Be selective. There are plenty of nice people on Stardoll who have self-respect and good manners.
Play safe and have fun.
