Hi Dollies!

Perhaps you've noticed a few dolls going without hair recently. This is a campaign started by Daisy (Dlaughx) to show support to those who are fighting or have fought against Cancer. Her campaign really touched a chord in my heart and I was fortunate enough to get in touch and hear some comments from Daisy.

Q: What prompted you to start this campaign on Stardoll?

This week it's been 2 years since my grandpa passed away fighting cancer. It's his birthday on the 19th of August. It's always a hard time during this week of the year. He passed away on the 11th of August and his birthday is just a few days later. My grandpa was like my second dad, he was always near and lived very close-by. I remember thinking what I could do to make it heard for people and I saw so many things on social media of people fighting cancer or someone in their surrounding facing cancer. I realized that almost everyone knows someone fighting cancer. I came up with this idea to give it a voice and to let other dolls know that they're not alone.

Q: What do you hope people can learn from your campaign?

I hope people will see that everyone is beautiful on their own way. I noticed that if you're wearing no wig that people will start reading my presentation why that is and why I'm ''different.'' I would love to see all the dolls without a wig so that they can see that everyone is the same!! With or without a wig on, everyone underneath is the same. I would love to see cyberbullying disappear and let people who are facing cancer in any way know that they're not alone!!
