Hello, dolls!

In many Starblog posts, we see dolls looking back on their early Stardoll days. I too decided to join in on the fun - with a look at my doll's beauty look, circa 2011. This look was from the earliest saved doll I could find, and as you can see, choices were... interesting.

First and foremost: the lipstick. Back in 2011, Luxe was the most expensive and coveted brand, especially to me. The day I bought that hot pink, sparkly lipstick was the best day of my life, and I wore it religiously. Looking back, I think it's a little garish and bright for my tastes, but I appreciate how happy it used to make me.

The face - while I'm not 100% sure about my nose, I'm certain those are the eyes and lips I chose when creating my doll all those years ago. The eyes are still a favourite of mine, but the lips have fallen out of my favour. 

That hairstyle in that colour was also a favourite of mine in 2011. The ashy brown, very different from my in-real-life blonde, was the best, and I thought that hairstyle, along with the long side ponytail, was gorgeous. I made sure to add the mismatched eyebrows also - I have no explanation for that one.
