Last Minute Valentines Treats

If out of nowhere friends or relatives decide to stop by, or you've planned a party & don't have the food yet, here are a couple very quick, simple & easy treats. They're also healthy, which is definitely a bonus.

1. Salad. It may seem boring at first, but garnish it with sliced strawberries. The trick to making it appropriate for Valentines Day is taking a small heart cookie cutter & pressing it into the center of your slice. You can either use the actual heart of the piece of strawberry with the cutout.

2. Fruit kabobs. Again, what is so special about these? Taking thicker slices of fruits, you can easily make hearts out of them, (again, with a cookie cutter) and put them on a skewer.

Remember, you can always make these for yourself, any time of the year! Don't make yourself feel guilty if you don't have a special someone to share your holiday with. You are special!
