Crimping irons are the new flat irons for fall 2011. Designers Rebecca Taylor and Katie Gallagher sent their models done the runway with gorgeous crimped hair. These ’90s-style waves give edge to sophisticated straight locks. Read on to master the modern take on this hot look.
Step 1. Have the right equipment A crimping iron like Conair MiniPRO is the easy and ingenious invention for crimping your hair.
Step 2. Open and Shut Heat up your crimping iron to your desired heat temperature. Grab a small amount of hair so your crimp pattern is precise. Open the crimp iron and put your hair between the two clamps. Close the crimp iron and hold for no more than 30 seconds.
Step 3. Keep on crimping Continue to crimp your entire head. To make the crimp designs look even edgier, start crimping some sections at the root of the head and others at the center of the section.
