The Starblog Diaries features BRAZIL's finest: LARINHALETTO
Meet Lara, a 17-year-old high school student from Brazil. Lara is currently enrolled in private school and enjoys spending her free time with friends, going to the cinema, going to the park and playing Stardoll. She is considering studying nutrition or gastronomy in the future. This talented doll has proven to be a prolific creator that inspires many people on Stardoll, and her Spotlight photos are often featured.
What inspired your username?
My doll's name was inspired by the actor Jared Leto’s, own moniker. (He is beautiful!)Tell us about your Stardoll journey!
A friend from school introduced me to the game in 2011. I began investing more time into Stardoll about four years ago, and this August I earned the 7-year Stardoll Family achievement. Creativity, is what draws to me to Stardoll. When I have something in mind: I create it. When I first begun playing this game, I visited many suites and I was fascinated by all of the amazing decorators, and their creative suites. Ever since then, I have developed my own style and decorating techniques. My Suite rooms feature a variety of themes. Even if the process proves to be difficult, -- I take on the challenge -- and never stop until my idea is fulfilled no matter how “bad” the results may or may not be.
Tell us about your culture and how relevant is Stardoll within your culture?Brazil’s biodiversity is always expanding, and our society has one of the most multiculturally diverse population in the world. Even though our national language is Portuguese, the state I live in exposes me to people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and a variety of languages. (The same way Stardoll does!) The Brazilian community on Stardoll is very big and I know people in my real life who actively play Stardoll.
What would you like to add, or change about Stardoll?
I would change the way competitions are designed; in order to stop the same people from winning so often. Everyone knows how Stardoll competitions can seem unfair due to the “serial winners,” that often compete with methods that are unfair to others.
Shout out whomever inspires you, and your favorite brands in the game!
Two users I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know on Stardoll are: EBINISSIA (her suites are magnificent, she is a friendly, polite and caring person) and, I love AllDolledUp’s doll and suites. Ela é um amor! (Portuguese for ‘She is a lovely person’.) Some Brazilian members I really like include nicolasownero, G-A-G-A, and KATYPURRY, they are all very creative people. My favorite store brand in the Starplaza is Limited Edition/LE.
Any words of wisdom you’d like to share?
I do not like to advise. However, I recommend to anyone reading this to avoid making this game an extension of your life. Remember to just have fun! Please, have good manners and treat other players and their creative works with respect.
