True Blue
Bright colors have been huge on the SS19 runways, with both monochrome looks and colour clashing seen at Milly, Adeam, F/FFFFF and Semir x CJ YAO. For this blog post, I have decided to style some monochromatic blue outfits!
For my first outfit, I could not leave this incredible pantsuit out of the post! Already such a statement, I styled it with some minimal heels and a Givenchy bag, which works really nicely with the ombré strap. Instead of a classic white t-shirt, I went for a baby blue one instead. While I have stuck to the monochrome trend, you could totally swap the t-shirt for a yellow or orange top for a color-blocking outfit instead. For my next outfit, I chose another statement piece, this blue ruffle dress inspired by Off-White. Again, not a lot is needed to complete the look, so I added some matching earrings, and a simple pair of heels. To complete the look, I added a circle bag which matches the hoop detail of the dress perfectly. Again, if you wanted to go for the colour blocking trend, you could swap the heels for some Balenciaga pantashoes.
With my next outfit, I went for a cute 90-00s vibe, styling this super cute silk jumpsuit with a baby blue t-shirt underneath. I then added a novelty handbag (with blue accent details), a rhinestone choker and silver heels matching the belt deatails of the jumpsuit. For my final outfit, I chose this amazing Givenchy dress. I styled it with some matching patent ankle boots, and bag. To accentuate the plunging neckline of the dress, I added a gold bodychain, which I think makes a nice change from silver jewelry.
