Colors Only India can Offer...
When the flames symbolizing the victory of good over evil were lit with the full moon in sight on March 1, every heart in India was filled with the joy and excitement of the much awaited festival of colours - HOLI.
I woke up early this year to get all the important stuff like filling up the water balloons and stocking all the gulaal (colors) done before my nemesis - my brother - wakes up. With everything set, it's time to finally enter the battlefield. Now, the rules of this festive game are simple - color every person that comes your way but don't let them color you! xD
With my face blue, limbs pink, and my body smelling like eggs (coz Holi's not complete if someone doesn't break an egg on your head), I finally come back home by noon, bathe for hours and wait for the royal feast at night. And finally, with the day coming to an end, I sleep with my body still getting jitters from the overwhelming experience of the morning and the plans of what I'll do next year.- The Indian Soul
