With this platform I get to learn so much about people who live miles and oceans away from me through the visual medium. Many Suites are a representation of their cultural background. Many dolls dress in a certain way that represents their long lost history and heritage, which is such a great way to share with the world who you are and where you come from. 

It is important in real life as well, to showcase your unique identity in order to not get lost in the crowd. We live in a world where it is becoming increasingly necessary to be aware about people who come from different walks of life. If they are non-identical to you, so are you to them. 

 We can tell the stories of our backgrounds and let people be aware of who we are. Awareness about distinct societies help to bridge the gap amongst  people, reducing the hate inducing thoughts that originate from lack of knowledge. 

One thing that keeps the Stardoll environment healthy is the community support. Every time I dressup in a traditional Indian outfit, I get compliments and encouragement from so many dolls. It makes me happy to share my cultural distinction with people who appreciate it. This made me realise that sharing stories is just as important as appreciating stories.
