One Stop Rules Update
On 19 August 2015 Stardoll updated the One Stop Rules.
The rules include some forbidden words that I cannot include in this post. Please read them in the Help Section.
Go to the bottom of the page and click on Contact us. Under the box for sending a note is a link to the One Stop Rules.
The newest rule says it is strictly forbidden to:
- ask or encourage other members to break the rules in any way
This is a good time to review all the rules. The One Stop Rules are also called Stardoll Etiquette. Each member is responsible for knowing how to behave. Stardoll wants to encourage healthy social interaction while providing guidance for safe online practices.
It has always been assumed that asking others to break the rules made users uncomfortable. This new rule clearly and simply removes any doubt. For example, if someone asks me to break a rule, let's say, sell my account, I would not respond. Instead, I would quietly report the post that broke the rules.
If it is in a chat party, I would then leave the chat.
If it was in my guestbook, then I would report, block the user, delete the post and forget about it. Stardoll will have a record of this, so I do not have to have to keep it. It is up to Stardoll to handle the report. Often people who break rules spam lots of guestbooks. Since I did not respond and I did not visit her suite, this member will have no idea which doll reported them.
I only add people I know as friends in my list, so it is highly unlikely I would see a post like this in chat or in a private message. But if you have not been careful adding friends, you may get a private invitation to break the rules. Report it and block the member. That will also remove the doll from your friends list.
Play safe and have fun.
