Yes, Kate Moss was the star of her own wedding, but Lottie, the supermodel’s thirteen-year-old sister, caused quite a stir—like that weekend’s very own Pippa Middleton. The Moss family is, of course, a very different kind of royalty so it was assumed by the fashion filled party that Lottie would turn to modeling when the time was right. That time appears to be now. A series of editorial-like images of Lottie, shot by Andrea Carter Bowman, just hit the Internet, which means it’s only a matter of time before she starts gracing magazine covers. Lottie may be gorgeous (shocker), but she looks quite different from her legendary sister. She has curves (though slight) and a more All-American look then the thoroughly British Kate. Since she’s not yet fourteen, there’s plenty of time for change (and puberty), but there’s no doubt we’ll be looking at that face for a very long time.

Joe Zee, ELLE’s Creative Director counts the first ever Victoria’s Secret fashion show as his initiation into the world of wings, but it’s taken him a bit longer to try on his own pair. Zee swung by the VS main office in New York last week to try on wings alongside Alessandra Ambrosio. He said if he was actually cast in the show he’d want his outfit to be, “the skimpier the better. Because that’s the type of girl I am.” Unfortunately, there wasn’t a feathered bikini to match his wings, but he was able to pull them on over his suit. Maybe it was his outfit that kept him from being cast in the show, or the fact that Karlie Kloss took the last spot, but he wasn’t too bummed. He left with some parting advice for the lucky models who will actually walk tonight’s show: “Chin up, chest out, strut, strut, strut!”

The attendees at last night’s Versace x H&M launch party were a veritable who’s who of the fashion and entertainment worlds. Despite the guest list’s grade-A status, everyone has to start out somewhere —especially when you’re talking about a personal relationship with a mega-luxury brand. So we decided to ask notable party-goers about their first Versace memories…

Last night, H&M threw what may have been the biggest fashion party of the year in honor of their collaboration with the house of Versace. Guests—Blake Lively, Sofia Coppola, Chloe Moretz, Debbie Harry, Alan Cumming, Helena Christensen, Chace Crawford, Uma Thurman, Abbie Cornish, Coco Rocha, Zachary Quinto, basically anyone famous who happened to be in New York—entered into a hall of mirrors built from scratch on a pier in the West Side Highway. On the red carpet, Allegra Versace told us that her uncle “would be very proud,” while Donatella gushed over New York, “I love the people and the energy.” Post-champagne, a second room opened to reveal a square-shaped runway. Nicki Minaj sat in front of us and recalled her most memorable Versace moment: “I fell in my triple platform heels in the ‘Super Bass’ video, but I was like no I’m not taking them off! Fashion is pain! So I went on and did my lap dance. ‘Super Bass’ went onto be such a big song so maybe Versace is good luck.”

Anja in this season's Fendi ad.

Of all the random tidbits we picked up backstage at yesterday’s Victoria’s Secret show (click here to see them all), this gem from Anja Rubik was our favorite. We asked the recently married model what she’d splurged on for fall and she said she didn’t even have a chance to buy the one thing she was after: “The one thing I wanted to buy was actually given to me, it’s an amazing Fendi coat. The one I wore in the ads and then I got it as a gift. It was actually from Karl for my wedding.” Of course, among all his other talents, Lagerfeld’s the perfect gift-giver.

diNeila Brazil, Issa and model Chrissy Teigen at Aruba in Style.

Aruba is looking to position itself as fashion-forward destination in the Caribbean, and thanks to it’s Aruba in Style event last weekend, it certainly brought a range of fun international designers to the warm weather getaway full of white sand beaches and clear blue sea. Runways have shown tropical palm prints aren’t just limited to island vacation style, but it was exciting to see more of this trend in the inspired location. Maybe it was the colorful sunsets, flamingos, iguanas and abundance of actual palm trees, but it was a treat to see these references brought to immediately to life. “Aruba has a special place in my heart because I was here almost six years ago on my honeymoon,” explained Neila Granzoti Rudden, designer of diNeila Brazil. With Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen, the two came together on the designer’s first collaboration featuring a vibrant plam print. “We wanted to just have one print, an exotic tropical print, so we tried to do that in a more modern way. So that’s the print we came up with, with some palm trees, some leaves, but depending on how you look at it you can’t really tell that it’s a palm tree. It’s more fashion forward,” explained Neila. With a perfect print, and over 24 mix and match options, the fit was also important to create the bikini line. As Chrissy explained, “I love the bandeau a a lot. Having a chest, it’s nice to have a bandeau that doesn’t squish them down. It has boning, thank god. I woudnt be able to do it any other way.” At Issa‘s runway show, the label’s fan Kate Middleton may not have been front row, but the palm prints continued. Flirty caftans, sexy swimwear and little dresses all displayed the leafy look. We’re already lusting for another exotic escape to Aruba ASAP, but in the meantime, we’ll just play “Kokomo” on repeat.

After years of being asked to put her name on a not-capsule collection Madonna finally gave in two years ago. She and her daughter Lourdes created the Material Girl collection with Iconix, for Macy’s.  It has, of course, become a huge hit, so the superstar’s announced her plans for phase two—a contemporary collection aimed at adults called Truth or Dare. While Material Girl’s used starlets like Taylor Momsen and Kelly Osbourne in their campaign, Madonna will be the face of Truth or Dare, which will launch next year. The collection will include a fragrance (Madonna’s first, made by Coty) as well as accessories like shoes, bags and lingerie. And though it’ll be sold at Macy’s in the beginning, they plan on expanding distribution in 2013. And we hope that by “expanding distribution” they eventually mean flagship Madonna stores because a line called Truth or Dare by a woman like Madonna lends itself to quite a decorating scheme.

As long as Daniel Craig keeps playing James Bond, it looks like Tom Ford will keep making his clothes. The designer (who, by the way, sold $52,000 worth of cosmetics during a one hour long personal appearance at Bergdorf Goodman this week) will make Craig’s suits—and tuxedos, sunglasses, ties and sweaters—for Skyfall, the latest Bond installment. Ford said, “I couldn’t be happier to be dressing Daniel Craig again…James Bond epitomizes the Tom Ford man in his elegance, style and love of luxury. I am thrilled to move forward with this iconic character.” Of course, our real wish is that he’d dress the Bond girls, too. Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, French and British respectively, have landed plum roles alongside Craig and Javier Bardem.  In costume-related news for the latter, who will play the film’s villain, Craig joked, “Javier’s stripped naked for most of the movie.” As if women weren’t already going to turn out in droves to catch Skyfall next year.
