The moment the world was waiting for! About an hour after the ceremony at Westminister Abbey was completed Prince William and his wife Catherine Middleton gave the world what they wanted to see, a kiss! The couple showed up on the balcony of Buckingham Palace an hour after the wedding and finally gave into the chants from the people waiting below! William gave his bride not one, but two kisses and the crowd, as expected, went wild!

After the mini Chanel-inspired tattoo craze last year, it’s not too surprising to see another mini trend arriving of tiny temporary facial tattoos. Interestingly enough, this trend has roots dating back to the mid 1500′s in Europe where nobles would often wear tiny patches in shapes such as crescents or dots to cover up zits or blemishes.

However, these ones that Shenae Grimes and Leona Lewis are sporting are merely for decoration and could easily be drawn on with some liquid eyeliner or made with a temporary tattoo. What do you think? Would you wear a temporary face tattoo?

While some might find it counter-intuitive that the line responsible for the adventof the bumster pant also created Kate Middleton’s dizzingly elegant wedding dress, the pairing makes perfect sense coming from Alexander McQueen, a house celebrated for its stunning sartorial contradictions. Standing next to her freshly wedded husband Prince William (who, in perfectly tailored scarlet regalia, also looked like a figure from the McQueen imagination) Kate carried the ethereal V-neck, long-sleeve gown. Honoring the impeccable standard of craftsmanship that McQueen himself set since the his days cutting suits for Prince Charles and others on Savile Row, the floral lace appliqué for the bodice and skirt were handmade by the Royal School of Needlework, using a nineteenth-century Irish technique called Carrickmacross. The delicate fabrics, ivory and white satin gazar and blended hand-cut Chantilly and English lace, reflected the unique romance of the occasion. Yet the look didn’t lack Alexander McQueen’s telltale drama, now carried on by Sarah Burton. Signatures, such as Victorian-style corsetry, padded hips and a modern skirt with soaring pleats and arches, ensured that Kate’s beauty was anything but quiet on her day.

After months of silence, Burton reflected in an official statement, “Alexander McQueen’s designs are all about bringing contrasts together to create startling and beautiful clothes and I hope that by marrying traditional fabrics and lacework, with a modern structure and design we have created a beautiful dress for Catherine on her wedding day. The last few months have been very exciting and an incredible experience for my team and I as we have worked closely with Catherine to create this dress under conditions of the strictest secrecy.”

Some, such as Elie Saab and Hubert de Givenchy, found the effect to be a touch too simple. While the gown was subdued for the notoriously high-stakes line, it suited Kate perfectly. In it, she was never overshadowed, but confident, strong and engaging — which is exactly what Alexander McQueen designs are all about.

Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha Cameron were two of the many esteemed guests that witnessed the wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton but it didn't stop there! David and Samantha returned back to their home on 10 Downing Street and continued the party there and we're guessing it they won't stop celebrating until tomorrow morning!

When Grace Kelly married Prince Ranier III of Monaco in 1956 she wore a white lace dress designed by Helen Rose, MGM’s award winning costume designer. Rose, and a team of thirty-six seamstresses, spent six weeks on the gown. Sarah Burton’s spent months on Catherine Middleton’s white lace gown—and given the secrecy under which she had to work we imagine Burton employed far less people. The results are startlingly similar, down to their bouquets, tiaras and veils. So in case you end up marrying a prince, take note: lace sleeves are a royal must!

It's official! 1/2 of the British Princes is off the market! Catherine Middleton married Prince William at West Minister Abbey earlier this Friday. The bride wore a lace Alexander McQueen wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton which is rumored to be worth up to $100 000 and a full veil made of ivory silk tulle held in place with a 'halo' tiara, which was made by famed jewelers Cartier in 1936.2 billion viewers watched the ceremony from across the world and 1,900 guests were invited to watch the ceremony in person. Outside the abbey an estimated one million excited Londoners gathered on the streets to participate in the celebrations. The 50 minute long ceremony was a very traditional one with classic wedding music and while William chose his little brother Harry to be his best man, Catherine chose her little sister Phillippa Middleton to be her maid of honor. After the ceremony was complete the newlyweds went in a open-top horse drawn carriage across the streets of London where they were met by excessive amounts of well wishes and cheers!Later this evening, a more private celebration will take place at Buckingham Palace with an approximate number of 650 family members and friends. Many congratulations!

Kate Middleton departed her London hotel "The Goring" just mere hours ago to head down to the prestigious West Minister Abbey where she is to marry Prince William later this afternoon. We got a sneak peak of her wedding dress, but not a good enough one to properly comment on it yet. However we love the laced sleeves!Half an hour later, we also saw Prince William arriving with his brother Prince Harry and after that we spotted some very famous wedding guests! Elton John with his partner David Furnish and the Beckhams! Aaahh it's all about to go down. Have you got wedding fever yet?

On The Today Show Matt Lauer called out the glowing and pregnant Kate Hudson on the rock on her ring finger. When he asked if it was an engagement ring, Kate said, ”I’m so glad you noticed—I kinda felt like the announcing thing feels so silly; I was just waiting for someone to notice.” Apparently she had been engaged for the past week. Paparazzi, you guys need to step up your game! When pressed for details on how the Muse frontman popped the question, she merely described it as “very sweet; it was very romantic. He [Matt] is a beautiful man; I’m excited.” With a new man, a new baby and a collaboration with Chrome Hearts, Kate Hudson is a very lucky girl. Congrats and best wishes you two.
