Take it easy.
"Don't get stressed about a situation yet to happen, that way you go through it twice.."
Have you ever noticed the few thoughts you have before falling asleep? I always used to worry about my following day, not letting my soul, body and mind rest properly. I'd feel my self get physicaly sick by worrying about different scenarios that could happen.
But everything changed when I started being more mindful. More present. Living in the current moment helped me understand my thoughts, and so I understood that I was harming both my mind and my body. After the realizing this, I decided to change. Nothing is more important than my health, and everything started working out better for me.
Trying a more positive approach to problems has helped me ever since. The first thing that comes to my mind, even during emergencies, is "Take it easy. I have control over everything and I'll figure out a way to solve this."
By saying I have control over everything, I absolutely do not mean it in the most literal meaning. However, I do have control over my thoughts and decisions, that combined, create my life path.
So the next time you start worrying about something yet to happen, calm down. Replace those thoughts with positive scenarios. And when worrying about a current problem, remember to take it easy. It's all going to work out in the end.
P.S: I have been thinking of starting a series about our thoughts, controling them, how it affects us, what kind of impact our thoughts have in our current reality and much more in depth. I'm kindly asking your opinion on this. Is it something you guys would like to see on my blog?
