80s Fashion has had a huge influence on fashion this year, with Miu Miu and Tom Ford Fall 2018, and Spring/Summer 2019 shows such as Halpern and Balenciaga. For this blog post, I have styled some 80s inspired outfits.

For my first outfit, I chose this satin mini dress in magenta. As well as being popular during the 80s, satin was a popular choice this season, seen on catwalks including XIMONLEE and Richard Malone. I styled the dress with a matching bow (very Madonna) and gold body chain, which accentuates the neckline perfectly. I then added some classic heels and a clutch bag in a clashing color. With my next outfit, I chose a statement blue blazer, which I paired with a black mini dress. Inspired by Tom Ford's show, I added a headband and statement hoop earrings. To complete the outfit, I chose a matching blue bag and pointy heels.

For my next outfit, I went for a power suit inspired look. This satin Gucci blouse is perfect and adds a pop of colour. I then chose these heels, which are very 80s with the fishnet sock detail. The Judith Leiber Boombox clutch is such a fun addition to the outfit, however you could choose a simple mini bag instead. Continuing with the power suit theme, with my next outfit I chose this super 80s Gucci blazer with pink satin bow, styled with matching pants. I added an open blouse, satin clutch and pointy heels. 

With my next outfit, I went for a glitter party dress, which I styled with a statement belt, mini box handbag, headband and heels. For my final outfit, I chose this super cute off-the-shoulder dress with feather trim. I kept the outfit simple, styling the dress with a bow headband, earrings, mini handbag and classic pumps.
