After a long wait, we have finally been treated to a new LE collection! Featuring many resort inspired pieces, this release certainly had some gems to be found. Here are some of my faves!

McQueen Inspired Floral Ruffled Dress
This complex and feminine dress takes inspiration from the pre-S/S '17 Alexander McQueen collection, and features the overwhelming and yet still beautiful combination of a detailed floral pattern and a dynamic ruffled design. I love this item because I think it represents an exciting new take on a spring/summer classic! For this look I chose to style the dress simply with some pink heels, but you could take inspiration from the original outfit and include socks and floral boots- or whatever else you can imagine.

LE Jacket Combo
A bit different from my first pick, this jacket definitely gives off an edgier feel than some of the more resort appropriate items in this collection. I like the contrast between the black pleather and denim lining- not a new combination, but one that oozes effortless chic! I chose to pair this item with jeans and a bralette to continue the edgy theme of the look, but a contrasting style (a pale pink dress, perhaps?) might be an interesting creative direction to experiment with.

LE Belted Skirt
To create a new take on the sheer, flowy skirt we have all seen a million times, this item extends up past the waistline and belts around the neck, leaving space for many new styling choices. This item is so interesting and beautiful- I can't wait to style it with the bodysuits and crop tops in my doll's wardrobe!
