As the last ever episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air recently turned 20(!!), I thought it was a perfect chance to look back at the different styles and create some outfits inspired by some of the characters.

Of course, it's only right to start off with Will! Key-pieces for this look include oversized t-shirts, sport jerseys, sweatshirts, flannel shirts (usually tied around the waist), denim jackets, bomber jackets, slouchy denim jeans or overalls (worn with the bib down), baseball caps, doc martens, timberland boots, and crisp white sneakers. Although my outfits haven't used a lot of colour, throughout the series we see an array of vibrant colours, usually worn together in clashing prints or blocks. Vintage Versace is a great inspiration point, as well as Moschino, both vintage and the AW15 collection, which saw graffiti print gowns, spray paint can bags, sport jerseys and oversized, block colour pieces.

My last two looks have been inspired by two of my favourite characters. The first was inspired by Jackie (Tyra Banks' character), and the second was of course Ashley Banks. Ashley definitely had the outfits I wanted to replicate, with a mix of preppy and tomboy- you could totally see influences from Will (denim on denim and boots) and Carlton (bright chunky-knit jumpers). For both styles, I would go for cropped tees and turtlenecks, which can be worn under cute dresses, or with tartan skirts, mom jeans, and denim or vests.
