This season we are whipping up fifties-ish pieces: belted sheaths, three-quarter-sleeve blouses, pencil skirts, swingy knee-length coats and softly draping floor-length evening dresses. This contemporary take on the New Look's touch has re-made the retro shapes into a look both light and modern.

Hello my dearest readers, I'm anouncing today the winners of Halloween's wednesday. I wanna say it was pretty tough, cause there were a lot of creative outfits. I wanna tell you that we are not having Funny Wednesdays for a while cause I'm travelling and I don't have much access to internet. So, here they are:

- Glee star Lea Michele wore this black Herve Leger dress to an event earlier this year and wore her hair in bangs and a pair of peep-toe pumps. While Nelly Furtado wore the same dress just last week for an awards show. Nelly put her hair up and wore black tights with her pumps. So, which of these ladies wore it best? Vote!

- Harper's Bazaar Magazine held their annual Women of the Year Awards last night and their were a few strong beautiful women like Yasmin Le Bon and Emma Thompson at the event, but we couldn't stop staring at supermodel turned designer Natalia Vodianova! She wore a long gold wrap dress and a stunning necklace and she glittered from head to toe. This is why gold is such a hot colour for this season, its a total show stopper ever time!

- Watch out London fashionistas, soon a new style icon is coming to town! Sources are reporting that Rihanna is currently turning London upside down in search for the perfect bachelorette pad! She's put her assistants on a 24/7 hunt and is reportedly very keen to make the move. She tells Britain's News of the World, "I spend more time over there (in London) than I spend in L.A., and that's where I live. London is more like my home." We think Europe, and London in particular is a great match for her! We've always thought that her quirky and fun style feels way more Londonier than LA-like.
