Hello, dolls!

Recently, I saw some comments discussing how not everyone can, or wants to, spend lots of money on beauty products. DIY beauty can produce results that you can cater to your own personal tastes, and today's DIY is a simple one you can complete with ingredients you probably have in your pantry. 

DIY Lip Scrub:
A small, sealed container
Two plus teaspoons of granulated sugar, depending on container size
Olive oil
Food colouring
Flavoured essence of your choosing

Start with the sugar in a bowl - the ingredient list says granulated sugar, but if you wish for a softer lip scrub you can use caster sugar. Add at least one teaspoon of oil, relative to how many teaspoons of sugar you use and how dry you wish your scrub to be. Coat the sugar until it forms a paste, and then mix in your colours and flavoured essence. The beauty of this simple DIY means you can have practically any flavour or colour - my favourite is to make a brown coffee flavoured scrub!

There you have it - scrub and buff your lips to perfection with this easy DIY lip scrub. This scrub if perfect for when you have dry Winter lips to make them shiny and new again - and the sugar and flavour make it tasty, too.
