Starpoints are amazing things when you think about it. They may appear as not that much, but they do really enhance your experience for you. 

When you earn starpoints, you will see your bar in the top-left hand corner get filled up. The more starpoints you earn, the more likely you are to go up another level... 

Levels may just seem like a 'label', but they're much more than that. The higher level you are, the more exciting stuff you unlock. My favourite part about levelling up is unlocking hairstyles. They are in the 'free' hairstyle section and next to them have the level you need to wear them. 

Level 10 gives you your first unlocked hairstyle:

The next hairstyle that I need to unlock is for level 63 Stardoll users - I am just 3 levels away from unlocking this:
