Finding Peace Every Day

Hey everyone! I'm so happy you clicked on my post today. Spend a moment here and have a mental break with me. 

We are living in a time in which peace is a commodity. With anxiety levels rising and uncertainty creeping in at every moment, it is imperative to self reflect and check on ourselves. One way we can do that is by remembering the good in our lives and being thankful for what we have. It really shows how much we have to live for and that the temporary negatives we face are just that- temporary.

I think it is so important to find time each day to reflect on what we are grateful for. You can choose to write it out in a gratitude journal, the notes app in your phone, express it verbally, or even just in your head silently. It has helped me so much personally with my anxiety; especially when I feel like everything's going wrong and I'm worried about what may happen in the future. I remind myself that compared to the universe, I'm simply one being who's trying my best -- and that's all we ever can do, right?

As for me, I'm so thankful and grateful to be surrounded by loving friends and family, to have the opportunity to be educated, and to be able to cuddle with my kitties!
