Hello! 

In a land of myth and a time of magic the destiny of a great kingdom rests on the shoulders of a young boy... his name... Merlin. 

This is the opening to one of my favorite TV shows. Merlin was inspired by the legend of King Arthur that would bring peace in the land of Albion. But his destiny is closely connected with the young sorcerer Merlin. It' based on Arthurian adventures.

The TV shows began in 2008 and has 5 seasons with 13 episodes in each. The eighth episode is the begining of the end. Colin Morgan, Bradley James, Angel Coulby, Katie MacGrath, Anthony Head, Richard Wilson and Nathaniel Parker star in this show. The last episode is really very touching. I have seen all the 65 episodes 23 times! I can not say that the end was very happy. In fact, for me was absolutely sad! That's why there have been and there are rumors for 6th season, but that has been refuted by production.
