Faye and Finn are reunited with Lucas- but in a locked cell, at the mercy of their captors. Meanwhile, Jimmy's leg has healed with supernatural speed, and he and Liz decide to look for their friends.

At the mine entrance, Faye and Finn find what's left of Silver Cross' inhabitants- gaunt, shuffling mine workers who look barely human. Having made their way underground, Finn suffers from the effects of silver on his werewolf half- and then they are captured by the shadowy Mr. Koskay.

Finn finds evidence that Lucas has been in Silver Cross- and decides he has to investigate the mining operation. Faye insists on coming with him.

Finn and Faye begin to explore the town, and meet Jeff- an old man who works for a Mr. Koskay. He tells them silver is being mined in Silver Cross by Koskay- but denies all knowledge of the murderous creatures.

It's the final day of the school year and Faye and Liz are making their way to Lucas' house for a huge party. But when they get there, he's nowhere to be found...
