Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we’ve just received some great advice from ex-reality-star, now-fashion-designer/author Whitney Port. In a post on wetpaint.com, she dishes out on kissing on the first date, to her worst Valentine, and advice for single ladies. Read on for tidbits!

Kissing on the first date: The option of kissing on the first date totally goes with your instinct. Whitney states, “If you sense a real connection and have the urge to, I don’t see why you shouldn’t.”

The Worst Valentine: We’ve all had or will come across some really regretful Valentines in our lives, but later on you’ll probably just laugh it off. Whitney’s worst Valentine: “We were on our way to a romantic dinner at what was supposed to be a really good Mexican restaurant, I had to excuse myself from the table and started throwing up in the bathroom! I was mortified and stinky and had to be taken home.”

Advice for the single girls out there: “If you’re inclined to moping on this day, fight the urge! Grab a group of rowdy girlfriends, throw on a sequined mini and stilettos, and go for a raucous night out!
