The colour pink has been a staple trend this year, and continues to grow. Whether hot, baby or magenta, the colour has been spotted on many catwalks, including Gucci, Valentino, Balenciaga and Phillip Lim. For this blog post I decided to style baby pink, three ways.

With my first outfits, I went with my personal style. I like to mix up different styles and pieces that contrast eachother. I love how the baby pink shade looks when paired with raw hem jeans and chunky boots. For my second outfit, I was inspired by normcore and the casuals subculture, with the slouchy t-shirt, pants and bag. The pom pom boots work with the colours on the t-shirt.

My next outfits focus on pink pants. The trucker jackets' print matches the mom jeans perfectly, and I added the blue shopping basket for a kitsch edge. I kept the rest of the look simple with a white t-shirt and boots. For the second outfit, I originally wanted to style the pants with the matching jacket for a 00's Missy Elliott vibe, but instead chose the printed bomber jacket. I brought the 00's Hip-Hop vibe to the look with the crisp white sneakers and gold hoops.

My last outfits are a little more feminine, focusing on the dress. As both dresses have a delicate look, I decided to dress the slip down by layering it over a t-shirt and adding a denim jacket. With the mesh dress, I was inspired by Baby Spice, and added super cute fluffy heels (chunky platforms would work too) and a choker. The Toucan design on the handbag adds a subtle pop of colour.
