If you readers happen to be like me, human, then you too have probably messed up your nails when painting them - horribly. To be brutally honest, there are two ways to truly have the perfect nails, either get them done by a professional or practice until absolutely perfect. Of course these require time, money and effort - a lot of things which I don't have to spare.

Here are the situations and issues that I have, and you probably will and/or have encountered:

I am a perfectionist who can't paint nails very well! Avoid very dark colours, clumpy nailpolishes and opt for clear nailpolish or clear nailpolish with sparkles. The clear nailpolish will give your nails a stunning shine while not showing those small mistakes! If you do go with clear nailpolish then make sure to put a little more effort in shaping and caring for your nails.

My cuticles and hands are dry with fly away skin. To avoid this make sure to moisturize your hands, especially your cuticles, and if you have little pieces of skin by your nails make sure to not rip them, intead leave them or cut them away safely and apply antiseptic cream or a plaster to help them heal.

Why does my nail polish never look smooth? The trick is to first apply a base coat, then apply many thin layers (making sure that each layer is 100% dried in between) and finishing with a top coat.

My nails are clumpy. Okay, my best trick is to use the brush and create a purposeful bumpy effect on all your nails.
