Today I wanted to talk about a myth involving make-up. How many times have you heard "If you are doing dramatic lips, keep the eyes simple  so you don't look over-done"? It's something I constantly am hearing!

The reason this isn't true is that everyone constantly has new creative ideas, and everyone is different. Some people may find ways to pair dramatic eyes and bold lips together without a problem! In the image above, I did smokey eyes and fuschia lips, and personally, I love the way it looks. 

Make-up has no rules or limits. Apply it how you want, and how you think it looks great. Always be true to yourself and you'll always be happy with your make-up look. And yes, if done correctly, dramatic eyes and lips can look great.
