Dear StarBlog readers,

Hola!  My name is Alejandra, I'm 21, I'm Peruvian and I'm a student studying translation and interpreting. I speak 5 languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Quechua, and a little bit of French. I wish I could speak: Japanese, Korean and Turkish as well.

I really like to dance, sing, act, write songs and play video games. My favorite video game is Just Dance. Recently, I participated in the Just Dance Challenge, a contest for Latam Just Dancers. Also, I won a translation contest (Chinese to Spanish) and that made me really happy because that was my third time participating.
On the other hand, I love to help people, so I usually donate food and clothes and spend time with kids during Christmas or holidays.

Tell us about your Stardoll Journey!

Now, Stardoll, OMG, so many memories! I literally grew up playing here.

My username is because of my favorite singer Demi Lovato ♥ and first I wanted it to be something like "DemiLovato" but it was already registered so Stardoll gave me this option.This was back in 2009.

I discovered SD while I was playing dress-up games on internet. There was an ad of Stardoll and now I'm here! At first I used to play only in the dress-up game section and then I realized I needed an account to access to everything. 

Now It's been 10 years, my doll has 10 years old hahaha.

To be honest, I really miss the old Stardoll because people used to be more on clubs, parties were really a thing, not only for the prize, clothes and suites were so different and now there are collectors that want them. Also there were no Royalty members and Starcoins, some things were not for everyone but at least more was a little bit more accessible than now. I wish there was more items for non-Superstars because, as one of them, I know we are not going to have the same items Superstar or Royalty members have but at least they could give us more items, not so limited. 

I'm still here, because Stardoll is a part of my life. Ten years have gone by so fast! I've been here from a kid to an adult and I don't wanna lose this account. My best friends know that I still play here and they are really cool with that; they know that I've been here since 2009 so it is okay. I love them.

Tell us more about your background and cultural interests!

Peru is an amazing country. You will love it. 

*We have many touristic places to go, besides Machu Picchu, we have the highest sand dune in the world in Sechura, also we have many beaches like Mancora or Punta Sal.

*Also in Lima we have the Apu Siqay (if you wanna know more, google it, its amazing ♥) and we have a "Rainbow Mountain" in Cusco.

*On the other hand, we have more than 3,000 different varieties of potato, also Peruvian' cuisine is so delicious, we have ceviche, pollo a la brasa, lomo saltado, arroz chaufa, turrón de doña pepa, mazamorra morada OMG SO MANY 

*Also we have the oldest University in the Americas

*There are also 47 official spoken languages!

Words of wisdom, and any advice you’d like to share with our readers?

This is one of my favorite quotes ever and it is kinda related to Stardoll:

I love the fact that I can identify with this quote, maybe in 10 years, I still will be here (if Stardoll is still around too).

My advice, as an old player, is this:
- Make friends but don't share personal information.
- Enjoy Stardoll as much as you can; there are always so many options.
- Create a club about what you like -- maybe I can join.
- Invest your time in designs or decorate your Suite.
- Non-Superstars also can have fun; not everything is about money.
