Hey lovelies!

Sorry that I haven't written anything for a while. I am all caught up in exams and I really missed writing for you guys!

So, SDBC's book for April was "We Were Liars" by E. Lockhart. Here is what the club members think about it:

"When I first started reading this I didn't really know what to expect but I loved it. Throughout the book I couldn't guess what was going to happen at the end but when I read it, it made perfect sense and everything came together. I wasn't really shocked but the ending definitely surprised me. My favorite characters where Jonathan and Mirren. I like the island and how it was described and could definitely imagine myself being there. I found the whole thing really sad but it was very interesting and overall a great read!" -me4ver

"So when I started reading this book, I had zero clue and the name of the book didn't really tell me much. 
Throughout the book you get to know more of Cady's ‘accident’ and little hints were given to "reveal" the ending, still I personally didn't really know where it was going. The ending came as a shock for me, but when I gave myself some time to think, I put together all the clues the writer had given and it all made sense. It was a great read, I feel like it gives you some personal growth, too. At least, it did for me." -chocolade-vla
