A highly requested theme for me to style has been 'going out' outfits. So, I have put together some looks to suit different tastes.

My first two looks have focussed on the dress. Slip dresses are my go-to, as they are so versatile. You can wear it on it's own, keeping it very minimal, or, you can layer it over a t-shirt (which dresses it down). You could also choose a simple black slip dress, and layer over a glitter lurex t-shirt or turtleneck. I decided to the shoes and accessories very simple as the dresses are very showy on their own. The marabou fur heels and mini handbag are very Cher Horowitz!

For my next two looks, I wanted to style trousers, as you could dress the trousers two ways - masculine when paired with a shirt, or feminine with something like a spaghetti strap top. I chose the shirts, as I really liked how they contrast the glitzy trousers. Again, I kept shoes and accessories minimal. Depending on how formal the event you're going to is, you could get away with a crisp white pair of sneakers! I love how they look with the glitter, and remind me of something that Missy Elliott, Ciara or Rihanna would wear.

Finally, my last looks are about outerwear (and a lot of gold). The best kind to choose would either be Fur or Leather. A Fur coat would add a luxurious feel, whereas the leather jacket would toughen the look up (and would look great worn over the first two looks). With these pieces, I toned down the rest of the look with a simple maxi skirt for my first outfit, and grey sweatshirt and black culottes with the second.
