Even though I've been blogging for Stardoll for less than a month, I wanted to share some things you might expect if you get accepted as a Star blogger, share my experience so far.

It will be the greatest achievement in your Stardoll blogging career. You'd be given a chance to write for an audience of about 400 million members.

Once you write your introduction post, you can expect a lot of nice comments, both on your post and guestbook. Users will congratulate you, telling you they are looking forward to your posts, etc. It will make your day.

Friend requests - expect a lot of them. It is your choice whether to accept them or not.

Not everyone will agree with your opinion. People will not be afraid to say they disagree with you. And that is ok. You should respect their opinion, but not necessarily change yours.

People will also notice every single mistake, misspelled word or wrongly used phrase. For us whose native language isn't English, it is bound we'll eventually make a mistake or 2. But using spell check and re-reading a post a couple of times might help prevent that.

Some people will just write hate comments. With no specific reason. And you should not be offended by them.

It will take a day or 2 for your post to be published. Like they say in acceptance letter, send one post at the time, and be patient, it will come out. (If you followed the rules.)

Some days you might have dozens of ideas, others not a clue. Tip: When an idea strikes, write it down!
