Time Management: Get Stuff Done!

If you're anything like me, you have trouble getting things done. Whether it's from distraction or procrastination, managing my time if just difficult for me. If it is for you, too, read these tips I have used that help me with getting things done.


1. Set a schedule for yourself with the things you NEED to get done at the top of it. For example, my personal schedule is get home from school, do all my homework, do all my chores, take a shower and eat dinner, THEN do the things I love to do like watch TV and go on Stardoll. I know it may be difficult to follow your schedule, but just try.

2. Have a project due soon? Plan out what you're going to do each day. Give yourself enough time to do each thing and spread it out evenly. It's not going to be fun when your project is due the next day and you haven't started yet.

3. Set a time for yourself to do homework until. Work on your homework due the next day first. If you finish before the time, work on a project that's due later on. You'll thank yourself later. If the time comes and you still haven't finished the homework you have due tomorrow, keep working, but don't bother to work on a later on project unless you feel like you need to due to not enough time to complete the project.

4. Chores. House cleaning. What ever it may be, no one likes them. Get them done before you give yourself free time. Then, when you do finish, you'll have the rest of the day to do whatever you please. For me, after getting everything done before I have fun, lifts a huge weight off of my shoulders.
