Dr. Martens First and Forever Campaign
This morning Dr. Martens previewed their fall collection and new campaign, ‘First and Forever’. The brand’s CEO, David Suddens told us, “the idea for the campaign developed when we realized that everyone remembers their first pair of Dr. Martens.” Expanding on the idea of firsts, the company is encouraging everyone to share their personal ‘first’ experiences on their site. Agyness Dean makes a modeling comeback in the ad’s film version, speaking about the experience of a first heartbreak. At this morning’s event, photo blogging hosts Scott Schuman and Garance Doré, shared stories about starting their respective sites. Doré even spoke about her first big photo shoot! Guests proceeded to get personal with stories about love, children, and oddly enough—bodily fluid. Amidst all the sharing, we got a sneak peek at the brand’s new fall styles which run the gamut from cozy looking fur-lined boots to stiletto lace-ups. It all has us waxing nostalgic about our first pair of Docs!

- Alexander Skarsgard is staying very busy these days! While we're waiting anxiously for the next episode of True Blood, Alex is currently filming the film adaption of the book, "What Maisie Knew" in NYC! Right now we know that the film will star Alex, Julianne Moore, and Steve Coogan. "What Maisie Knew" is about a girl who has to deal with her parent's divorce, spending six months a time with each of them. Her parents each remarry (Alex will be Maisie's stepfather) but her step-parents eventually fall in love with each other! We can't wait to see the trailer for this movie, anything with Alex in it is sure to be amazing! Click to see more pics of Alex on the set of "What Maisie Knew."
ElleGirl- Allie Gonino is one multi-talented, super-sweet 21-year old from L.A. A former pop star in girl band The Stunners, she toured with Justin Bieber and made a music video featuring New Boyz, but has decided to take a different route—kind of. She has plans for taking on Broadway, the big-screen, and pretty much anything along the performance spectrum and looks up to The Dixie Chicks and Reese Witherspoon. She’s inspired by her role model, Lady Gaga—whom she says is a walking “performance piece”—and calls herself Baby Gaga. But she’s your average galpal, and just like you and me: she shops at Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, and Topshop (whenever she gets the chance!), but still eyes those Christian Louboutins we wish to own one day.

- Ever since the Cheerios switched sides and become proper Gleeks, we've really loved the individual style of each girl (Quinn, Brittany, and Santana) but we have to admit, the Cheerio with the best style is definitely Brittany (Heather Morris)! We're constantly inspired by her crazy trendy outfits. A lot of her clothes seem inspired by Heather herself, so we decided to take a peek into her wardrobe!
Heather has great style! She has that perfect balance between totally glam and totally casual. She's also not afraid to go a bit off-trend (at least in the red carpet sense) with knee socks, playsuits, and wild earrings. We love that she always dresses age appropriately, and never tries to dress older than she is. So many young actresses dress like their 45 and it's just...ugh! What do you think of Heather's style?
