Many of my favorite items of clothing on Stardoll are denim. I love how versatile denim is, with many styles including distressed, bedazzled and dyed. I have decided to channel my love for denim into a new series on my blog! For the first post of the series, I am focusing on colored denim. 

Starting with my first two outfits, I chose pastel denim. With both outfits, I wanted to style them with contrasting pieces rather than a head-to-toe pastel look. I think the leather jacket works perfectly in contrast to the pink jeans, with the combination of the leather and graphic. I completed the look with a simple white t-shirt and black boots. I then matched the mini pearl handbag to the statement Gucci sunglasses. You could swap the sunglasses for a leather beret or newsboy cap. With the lilac culottes, I kept the outfit minimal with the black and white checkerboard sweater, Gucci bag and clear heels. These culottes would also work with a white crop-top, a transparent bag and matching shoes. 

For my final outfits, I chose subtle ways of incorporating color into denim. The first pair have a holographic detail, adding both color and shine to the denim. I styled the jeans with a simple camisole, some layered necklaces, and clear heels. The baby pink crossbody bag compliments the holographic detail perfectly. The final pair of jeans incorporate color 

through paint splats and brush strokes. I paired the jeans with a slouchy t-shirt and white sandals. I chose a clear pink jacket and matching clear earrings in pastel shades similar to the paint splats, and a Chanel grafitti backpack to complete the look.
