Today's post is about using the correct lighting to create a certain effect, mood or atmosphere.

I am going to talk about overhead, spotlight and other lighting types for your rooms.

Overhead lighting:

Overhead lighing is your simple lamp on the ceiling to create a light and bright atmosphere. It doesn't focus on any aspect of the room, just enhances it. Examples in picture: Cube overhead light & Trio firework lights.

Spotlight:

Spotlights are used to draw a person to the main focus in the room. Several can be used to brighten up the whole room; or a single one to show the main focus and/or attraction. Examples in picture: Pink spotlight

Other lighting:

Other types of lighting can enhance the room, create a bright atmosphere, make the room unique and create a glamourous and luxurious setting when used correctly. Examples in picture: Moving below lighting, office lamp, horizontal glow light.
