As you guys know, the two have been dating for about four years so it's about time, right?! Well, Salma isn't one yet but soon she'll be knighted by the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy. Wow! The knighting will happen in the next two months and is a great honor in France. This award is given to military personnel and civilians for service to France. Way to go Salma, but should we start calling her "Sir Salma?" (people)

- McSteamy, er, Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart just welcomed a baby girl to their family. This is their second daughter, who they named Georgia Geraldine (her older sister is named Billie Beatrice.) Sources say that "both mom and baby girl are happy and healthy, Billie is thrilled to be a big sister, and dad is getting ready to live in a house full of ladies!" - Beyonce (she's still pregnant, btw) and Jay-Z didn't ring in 2012 with champagne at a swanky party or martinis at the hottest club, instead they chose to go to a fancy American bistro for dinner and celebrate with each other. The restaurant, Buttermilk Channel, is located in Brooklyn and they had the 3-course tasting menu which included foie gras, butter poached lobster, and duck meatloaf. While it might have been a quiet New Year's Eve for Beyonce and Jay-Z, it sounds like they had a lovely date just the two of them, because soon it will be three! (foodrepublic)

- Matthew McConaughey and Camilla Alves are definetely one of the most adorable couples in Hollywood! After more than four years together with the Brasilian model, Camilla, Matthew has finally popped the question. He announced the news through his WhoSay account, along with a picture of them kissing by the Christmas tree. "Just asked camila to marry me," he wrote. "Merry Christmas." - Ellen DeGeneres is now the owner of Brad Pitt's former Malibu home! Well, actually she owns two houses of Brad's right on the beach! Not only do the houses have a view of the Pacific Ocean but a pool and tennis court. While totally luxurious, they're smaller than what Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, are used to, they're downsizing from 15,000 to 4,000 sq ft. Ellen made a pretty decent profit too! She sold her house for $49 million and bought Brad's for $12 million. Seems like Ellen might've won on this deal, especially since the house was once Brad Pitt's! (people)

- Kim Kardashian just spent $65k on jewelry that used to belong to Elizabeth Taylor. Elizabeth's jewelry recently went up for bid at $116 million total! A lot of serious Elizabeth fans bid on the jewelry but only a few had the cash to spend and Kim K was one of them. Kim was a huge fan of Elizabeth Taylor and now that she owns some of her jewelry she feels a deeper connection to her. Kim should know that just because you own something from an icon, it doesn't make you an icon. (tmz)

- Guess who is joining the ballet? Ryan Gosling! Well kinda....Ryan has decided to take ballet classes and not just for a movie role, no he's taking the classes for fun! There is probably nothing hotter than a man who can dance! Ryan's instructor has said, “It’s funny because he is such a dude’s dude. He’ll come in in basketball shorts, grab the bar and go.”
Ryan previously said everyone in Hollywood would be much happier if they had jobs outside the acting industry, "they have meals. They go to Pilates. But it's not enough. If everybody had a pile of rocks in their backyard and spent every day moving them from one side of the yard to the other, it would be a much happier place."(femalefirst)

- After the next Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale is stepping down from his role as the brooding and dark Batman. So who will take his place? We found the list of contenders and they're all incredible! Our favorites: Ryan Gosling, Michael C. Hall, and Taylor Kitsch from "Friday Night Lights." The Marni collection will be available in March and will be full of bold prints, nerdy accessories, and chunky jewelry!
