Make It Work: Jewelry Eyes!

În urmă cu 102 luni

The latest Epiphany release brought with it a new set of jewelry closed eyes - possibly my favourite so far! If you're struggling to style this type of jewelry effectively, here are a few tips that might help you out.

Starting with...
When styling these eyes, it's important to start with a clear face. This will allow you to create a close focus on your doll's eyes and build the rest of your look around them! It's easiest to clear everything - StardDsign hair, Tress Up hair, makeup, and jewelry. Then you can place your eyes and sort them out before you experiment with other types of makeup looks!

Blending
Sometimes when using jewelry eyes, you may be able to see your doll's natural eyelashes through the blend. To correct this, you can either enlarge the eyes to cover the lashes, or use makeup to help you blend. A makeup strategy that I find helpful in fixing this is to use a mascara that is a similar colour to your doll's skin tone, and combine it with an eyeshadow that you can blend with both your doll's skintone and the makeup on the eye jewelry!

Finish it off!
Once you're happy with your doll's eyes, it's time to finish off the rest of your look! Add face shadings, lips, blush, and other makeup until you're happy with it. If you're using Tress Up hair, choose one that doesn't cover the eyes - it might look a little funny. StarDesign hair usually works fine, however! Once you're all done, remember to save - and check out your new makeup in your suite.
