Hi all, Alice here! 

Even though I will not be gifting anyone this year for Valentine's Day, I still thought I'd share with you some gift ideas that have worked for me in the past! 

1. Something simple and personal - crafts made by you, a hand-made card or a present made by you can really make a person feel special!

2. Flowers and chocolates - the old favorite!

3. A book you know they like - this is what I did last year, I got my boyfriend a book about Doctor Who as he loves it, and I saw a genuine smile on his face.

4. A meal out - this can be a very special moment if you pick the right place, try to go to a restaurant that sells a range of foods so your Valentine won't be disappointed.

5. Personalize something for them - this is a bit like my first idea, but this one refers to perhaps a picture of the two of you but putting it in a nice frame is always a nice touch!

6. Writing a poem - perhaps a bit old school, but this can show your true love for them in my favourite form, literature!
