Many members have asked me about the rumor that Flash is going away.

Adobe announced in 2015 that they had set an end date for Flash updates for the end of 2020. They did not consider that it might be an unrealistic expectation for entire sites (not just Stardoll) to convert immediately to HTML5. 

Since that announcement there has been a change in that policy.

For existing Flash content, the final version of the Flash plug-in will be designed to work after 2020. After that time Adobe will continue to work with browser makers to ensure future security vulnerabilities are patched.

After the end of 2020, you will have to enable Flash every time you visit a site that requires it. Google has already made it so the latest version of Chrome has this requirement.

The good news is that whether or not Stardoll finishes converting the entire site by the end of 2020, we will still be able to play here.
