Today's blog post is going to be something different for me and that is taking about the place I love most in the world: New York City.  

When I was seven, I remember watching Doctor Who and the episode was set in NYC and more importantly at the Empire State Building. This is when my love for the city began.   

After this followed The Devil Wears Prada, my favorite film of all time and one that is set in NYC. To say this movie changed my life is an understatement.  

When I was 16, I was able to visit New York and my love for the city grew.  

New York City is not just about the buildings, but also the amazing food, and the fashion scene that is out of this world. Whether you're on Park Avenue or strolling through Tribeca, New York City is definitely the city that never sleeps.  

The constant sound of taxis honking, the sound of the subway and the smell of hot dogs is one that can never be replicated anywhere else.  

NYC is the place where you can be yourself.

I always say that I left a piece of my heart in NYC and I belong there because nowhere has felt more like home.
